Companies want your actual email address, not a forwarded alias, and Apple is making it easier for them to demand it.
I hope Apple decides not to throw their iCloud+ customers under the bus.
I don't use this feature a huge amount, but I have used it quite a few times, and going forward with this change is absolutely going to nerf its basic functionality.
