Personally game development has kind of ruined how I enjoy games. I feel like I’m always looking past the “matrix” now, and instead of just enjoying the illusion, I start studying the UI, sound design, gameplay design and how everything was made.

Do you think the video game market is actually oversaturated, or are players just pulled into fewer games for longer? There are more indie games than ever, but maybe the bigger issue is live service games absorbing so much player time. What do you think? #gamedev #indiedev
