Employers spend almost $1.7 billion a year hiring union-busting consultants and law firms to stop their workers from organizing for better wages and working conditions. Imagine if they spent that money on their workers instead?
If you were to count out a million seconds, it would take you 11 and a half days. A billion seconds would take you 31.7 years. But a trillion seconds would take 31,700 years — to reach that point today, you would have needed to start counting around the time that neanderthals went extinct.

In the 60s sitcom, the Beverly Hillbillies didn't desecrate their lovely home in Beverly Hills (although it was actually located in Bel-Air). They just had funny names for everything. This 2026 stupid Jed Clampett isn't benign. He destroys everything he touches. And has stupid names for everything.
This makes a hell of a lot of sense.
