Heck yeah, it finally released. store.steampowered.com/app/2169930/...
Beat DBZ: Legacy of Goku for the first time tonight. Didn't dislike it as much as I was expecting (I didn't like it when I was younger), but I wish melee attacks did more. Just felt like most fights were just me outrunning the baddies, turning around and firing ranged, then running again.
Watched Freddy's Dead for the first time tonight. They had all three main character deaths within the same like...10, 15 minutes? That seems really dumb to me. I mean, a lot of it didn't seem well thought out, but still.
Watching so many Nightmare on Elm Street movies back to back might be ruining the experience for me. It's like 5% interesting shit, 95% "parents just don't understand" or "I'm not crazy, a hundred teenagers dying abnormally isn't normal". I probably should space out the last few.
Doing a 12 hour challenge next Wednesday to learn a new speedrun. Trying to find stuff around 30 minutes so it isn't too short or too long, honestly thinking about Castlevania: Judgement (Castle mode). I like making bad decisions, apparently.
How to Make a Monster - 1958 N My Pick This is one of those that was interesting to watch once, but that's about it. I think it would've been better if it was the makeup artist or the assistant doing the killings instead of "magical hypnosis face glue" brainwashing actors. Rank: 139 out of 199
The Vineyard - 1989 N BMN - Me The starting plot is basic enough, but it is done in a poor way. We also get the reveal of characters being awful way too early, so there's not much suspense. The story does get bogged down towards the end, too many random characters. Rank: 157 out of 198
The Manster - 1959 N My Pick It's another movie where we're supposed to pity the main character, but aside from his very first scene he's kind of a dick. I think it's supposed to be from the drug he was injected with, but he just seems awful from step one. Rank: 194 out of 197
The Mask - 1994 Y My Pick I'm assuming pretty much everyone has seen this already, not much to add to the discussion. It's fun, over the top (even in scenes without the mask), but not unbearable. The third-act pity party gets a little drawn out, but that's okay. Rank: 39 out of 196
