For ppl too young to remember the last great political convulsion (1960s era) it is easy to imagine politics the way Beltway pundits do- Tip & Ronnie sharing a pint and a laugh.
But progress is actually messy, nasty at times and often creates collateral damage-Families and friendships torn apart.
