This kit is a Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes caboose! The SR&RL had many types of cabooses; and many examples of them are preserved. This particular kit is based on 554, which is owned by Maine Locomotive & Machine and can be seen at the WW&F. I might make other Sandy River caboose kits too!
Next up to showcase is a special piece that was unique to only one railway, the Bridgton & Saco River Tanker. The railway had two to serve the oil refinery; one had a slightly bigger tank than the other, I may have to make the bigger tank as an optional add-on!
Welcome to Penguin Prints! I make 3D prints of model railway variety! 009, HO/OO, and even working scaled-down whistles! I'll be going into detail of my various kits soon, so stay tuned!
Sorry it's been a while, work's been crazy! Here's my next showcase, another boxcar; but this is another Bridgton special! Some of their boxcars had windows as they were known to carry cows. One windowed example is in service and can be seen today at the WW&F Railway.
