3D Prints abound! Model railway kits and working whistles, but other railway art can be found as well~! Welcome to Penguin Prints!
Penguin Prints 🐧

This kit is a Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes caboose! The SR&RL had many types of cabooses; and many examples of them are preserved. This particular kit is based on 554, which is owned by Maine Locomotive & Machine and can be seen at the WW&F. I might make other Sandy River caboose kits too!
Welcome to Penguin Prints! I make 3D prints of model railway variety! 009, HO/OO, and even working scaled-down whistles! I'll be going into detail of my various kits soon, so stay tuned!
First up in my 3D printed catalogue is also the first one I made, a 009 flatbed! The bogies and mountings for them has since been updated, but the main body has stayed the same. The holes in the body are to attach boards or large poles for large loads, as many railways did.
Sorry it's been a while, work's been crazy! Here's my next showcase, another boxcar; but this is another Bridgton special! Some of their boxcars had windows as they were known to carry cows. One windowed example is in service and can be seen today at the WW&F Railway.
Next up to showcase is a special piece that was unique to only one railway, the Bridgton & Saco River Tanker. The railway had two to serve the oil refinery; one had a slightly bigger tank than the other, I may have to make the bigger tank as an optional add-on!
My last whole 009 kit that I have to showcase, a Maine Two-Footer clerestory roof coach! The funniest thing to me is how long it is when I printed it, it feels almost bizarre 😆This doesn't have an interior, however, it might be something to think of for the future! 👀
Next up, is a 009 boxcar; the second print I ever designed myself after the flatbed. Just like the flatbed, the bogies and mountings have been updated. This one is a very standard design found on the Maine narrow gauge, but a couple upcoming ones will be railway-specific.
