This was a groundbreaking piece of work. A work so good it means a life well spent. Millions of people understand Iran, the diaspora and the weird bittersweet details of the immigrant experience through the work she did.
Funny thing is I had a great time, and I'll probably do it all over again because I never learn. It's a wonderful festival and worth the trip.
I agree. No notes. Full endorsement.
Here's my episode about 'The Archive of the Forgotten' by @ajhackwith.bsky.social from the 'Hell's library' series. Are they in hell or purgatory? It's a question that comes to the mind of an 'out of order' reader joining the second book in the trilogy. outoforderbookclub.alitu.com/episode/cf7f...
While doing my new episode on 'The Archive of the Forgotten' by @ajhackwith.bsky.social I discovered this gem from @uolpress.bsky.social. uolpress.co.uk/book/books-r... It made me look afresh at, well, how authors depict books, readers and libraries in fiction. Definitely worth a read!
