Check out the new blog I put together with @robertjscott.ca about what's going on with the Ingress NGINX Controller retirement and why you should take this opportunity to shift toward using Gateway API to manage Ingress for your Kubernetes Workloads!
In "doing things that don't scale" news, I noticed that my newsletter open rate was down over the past few months to about 40-45%, and I tried a very manual thing to increase it: I asked for help??
Anyway, it worked, and now it's in the mid-50s again β¨

My favorite new-to-me sensor so far is IMUs or Inertial Measurement Units, which are a collection of sensors including accelerometers & gyroscopes, used in lots of tech, like phones. The book mentioned that IMUs tend to accumulate errors, & how autonomous vehicles use GPS to account for this. Cool~!
So far in chapter 1, I've learned about the various types of sensors required to build an autonomous vehicles, and the various roles they play in the decision-making systems (which I'll learn more about in future chapters).
