So turns out my school visits didn't just leave me with a warm glow and sense that the kids are alright. They also left me with an absence of voice, much to the joy of my family this weekend. Currently praying for an overnight miracle ahead of another school visit tomorrow!
Delightful message from a #mentor tonight saying how much progress their #ITT student has made since my visit as everything has clicked, so I made a positive phone call home (rang the student to lavish them with praise). Now we all feel good. It's a positivity triangle. We need more of this!

This week I have had the privilege of visiting schools and observing history lessons in Derbyshire, NW London, 2 x East London and South Notts. In all 5 cases, students were keen to think about history. My highlight was being asked by one young man if I would be his partner for his source task! 🤩
