think i wrote this off too soon. gets a lot more informative as it goes on. i didn't know about guadalcanal, for instance, or the scale of the holocaust outside of germany and poland, or just how much footage of it all exists. the seventh episode is particularly devastating.
actually got to get trams in and out of manchester today, god help me. fully expecting it to be hell on earth.
the country needs a uniting message, and i feel quite strongly that should be lengthy prison terms for anybody who puts photos of their trotters on facebook.
