More people need to see this movie. It does an incredible job depicting everything that would happen later on.
On this day in 1957, Warner Brothers released “A Face In The Crowd.” Starring Andy Griffith as a grifter making his way through the new medium of television, this film was far, far ahead of its time. It certainly predicted bad things down the road and we’ve certainly seen them happen. A great watch.
Say what you want, but The Beatles should’ve interviewed Pete Best when they were making their Anthology documentary back in the mid 90s. He was with the band for nearly 1 & 1/2 years. He would’ve brought a unique perspective to that first trip to Hamburg. Just saying.
