Summer has not started particularly, well, um, summery! We have already recorded almost the same amount of rain as we had in the whole of the Spring, the temperatures are well down and also only recorded one day of the temperatures getting above 20°C....

The hottest May day we have recorded was 31.1°C back in 2020.
The mean max for this May is 17.7°C, which is 0.9°C below the long term average.
