I’m getting more CIS friends seeing “biological sex” and “do you identify as trans” questions in an employment context and they aren’t happy, “what business is it of theirs?” “Why are they doing this” and I explain to them why and get the response “it’s ridiculous”

There’s a reason they’re targeting libraries. They don’t want you educated. They don’t want you to have a nuanced view of history. Or to read novels that will give you empathy. Or to know about inspiring women, Black or LGBTQ people. They want you intellectually small and easy to manipulate.
