✨ Exciting News ✨I am thrilled to share that I have accepted a position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology (IDM), at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health!
The Keogh Lab will focus on understanding how bacteria adapt and persist in chronic wound environments, with the goal of uncovering new strategies to prevent and treat these infections.
New preprint out! Here, we find that glycolipids and lipoteichoic acid alanylation are critical for Group B Strep survival against neutrophil killing during diabetic wound infection. We also define GBS-neutrophil interactions in this niche.
