For @comicsbeat.bsky.social, I reviewed Tillie Walden’s CHARITY & SYLVIA, which fleshes out extensive documentation of two real queer women who lived openly together in a small town in Vermont in the 19th century.
Walden is at the height of her craft here. This book is incredible. My thoughts:
