A federal prosecutor, when questioned by a reporter about the allegations he just made about protestors attacking federal agents said, “I don’t believe I used the word ‘attack,’ but if I did, I stand by it.” He absolutely did say it, and then refused to share evidence of the alleged attacks.
Feds just cited the phrase “we must become ungovernable” as evidence that Minnesota activists being charged are dangerous.
The DOJ tried to make a federal case out of former NYC Comptroller Brad Lander peacefully protesting immigration policies. They offered a plea deal. Reporters kept insisting on knowing how many agents were allegedly injured. A federal prosecutor said that we can't have people committing serious crimes and then say, well, no one was hurt. A reporter responded, "Are you saying that no agents were injured?"
When they talk about the alleged violence and disorder of resistance, people have to keep highlighting federal violence. That is the real story, and it's the primary reason any of this is happening.

So if you participated in any observing or counter protest, now is a great time to reacquaint yourself with your rights. The ACLU is already on the case here, and her visit was clearly meant to intimidate rather than investigate. Don’t be afraid to plead the fifth and ask for a lawyer.
