Here me out... its the animators loving Stolas more over the years and putting it into the animation. When I look at a lot of other shows, the "style-match" fanart oftentimes can look much more polished because the fans actually love the characters while animators may sometimes just be doing a job.

Honestly I’d be extremely shocked if Stella didn’t also cheat on him but with higher class people. Like in season 2 it’s implied they stop having sex as soon as she had an egg and never did it again. So has she just been without it for 17 years? Need more info on this.
