Also not mentioned in Ezra Klein’s statement, but something Cory Doctorow revealed this week about when he was invited (and quickly, REPEATEDLY declined): You had to pay a minimum of $16,000 to go!
I would like to know how much Klein paid to casually check it out.

Ezra Klein addresses his Dialog attendance, saying he went twice and didn't return after 2022, when he found the vibe "curdled and resentful."
He writes: "That did prove a pretty good signal of where tech’s politics were going though, maybe I should’ve paid more attention."
