the second you realise the "im a big smarty pants who hates everyone" main characters are just wish fulfilment fantasies for some dickhead lead writer or creative director, you realise how fucking insufferable all these shows are at times.
been watching house, and generally i enjoy it if only because i find hospitals weirdly comforting and i like tv shows with miserable main characters. but GOD the 2000s were really inundated with tv shows where you can smell the writers arrogant detest for just about everyone around them.
