This is now two consecutive auctions where battery storage has outcompeted and outclassed gas-fired electricity -- in Ontario, of all places.
It might be time for some folks to update their priors on the cost of battery storage.

Water not Coal (aka Corb Lund's petition) says it has reached the signatures required under the citizen intiative act.
If signatures are counted and approved, it would theoretically lead to an 11th referendum question in Alberta this fall.
When Canada won the right to co-host the world cup, I was really excited. Even though FIFA has always stunk, once the first ball is kicked I'm usually all in.
Now, I mostly just feel sad and embarrassed. We're about to co-host what's likely to be the worst world cup ever.
A total travesty.
