I feel like the fact that Jalen's dad played for the Knicks in the finals against the Spurs back in 1999 when Jalen was just two years old is legitimately under-appreciated.

Did Adams ever have real fans though? It never felt like he developed a fan base. I'm not speaking about those directly under their employ, just supporters.
...yes Nets exist and I am primarily a nets fan. But the nets are just Brooklyn and have only been there for about 15 years. The nets have really struggled to connect with the community in Brooklyn in a way that feels natural.
