Among the treasures is the output from a computer "job" (that was the jargon in 1984) ran on the Univ WI's mainframe computer: 40 sq m of paper to produce a dendogram from a cluster analysis. Somehow I manually translated this into code for a printer to etch out a miniature A4 version.

Slowly cleaning out my office to prepare for retirement. Of all of the documents and various printed stuff I have accumulated over the years that I am sending to recycling, why is it so difficult to get rid of the lab books and computer printouts from my PhD thesis 40 yrs ago?
