azem's good at cooking too, cooking pretty normal food unlike vern lol. he is SUPERpicky with his food tho (fear of getting poisoned)
although he rarely makes time to cook for himself..(malnutrition yay)
he mostly likes cooking for others, much like vern in that regard
i've been thinking about this idea for forever but i'm still divided on if this is their canonical art styles t o me. so this is very subject to change./.......but i wanted to let it OUT.

vern's quite good at cooking but people don't usually eat his food because either
1. looks scary
2. might feel like it's poisoning you with the *possible* benefit of healing/making you feel better later
he enjoys cooking for others though. showing his appreciation through food, not so much words💥
he can handle criticisms about his food so that's good LOL
he's . really eccentric about food. he can handle eating most poisonous plants. he *enjoys* gross-tasting things and textures, trying to figure out ways it could have some newfound delicious taste in a dish(?)
culinary innovator mind. idk.
