I've never held any animosity towards Slippy Toad in the past but when this Slippy asked me "do you need aim assist?" in response to me whiffing a bunch of shots I wanted to reach into the screen and crush him to a fine paste

So many voice lines have been rewritten to say the exact same thing but in a more boring way and the voice actors all deliver them in this stilted, half-interested tone like they're reading from a cue card. It's completely sapped any charm any of these characters had to me
