"And now, dear Lord, I cannot wait, because I have a luncheon date." - Sir John Betjeman
Really great tour. We were lucky that a maintenance train was parked in the station today. The platforms have been used in multiple movies (Skyfall, Bourne, …). Got to walk the tunnels under Trafalgar Square too.
Watching the tube trains at Charing Cross… from a different angle. (On a “Hidden London“ tour of the station)
“It’s gold, tacky, and a symbol of corruption.” “What’s not to like?”
Piano at St. Pancras getting a workout this morning. (He and another guy had been taking turns playing, at this speed, for like 15 minutes!)
This was a “work in progress show” and we got to give feedback on which jokes we liked, which ones we didn’t (none of them!), and more. So cool. Definitely want to go to more shows like this in the future.
Beer and comedy, good Tuesday evening in London. The wonderful Maisie Adam on stage in a few moments.
“Anne Boleyn had six fingers!”
“What happened to the other four?”
(Steel Magnolias quote for those who don’t get it)
German traveler FreddyLA7 went to a game at Jordan-Hare and stopped at a Buc-ee’s at the same day. He went to a Waffle House yesterday.
He’s speedrunning the SEC experience.
