For years I've watched certain groups of guys go through waves of discourse on a semi regular basis about masculinity and never once get even close to this simple fact.
They have always been puzzled about the ideal form of a man to emulate, it's strange. "Is it Nick Offerman? What about Obama?" Like wild ass discussions that are more about attraction to specific aesthetic traits than about values and ideals.
