they *should* rethink the showrunner model for dw. i propose a new model with a writer's room and also a wholly new function called "the scheming advisor", who stands behind the writers and whispers evil ideas into their ears. i will humbly do this for free
My boring take, from other people’s experiences and my own: Doctor Who is a ferociously difficult, near-inhumane show to produce. Brutal for every department, but particularly for one person to hold at the top as it is. If they want the best range of pitches, the production model needs rethinking
