An analysis of diet-induced obesity using MouseMapper—a suite of foundation-model-based deep-learning algorithms—identifies structural alterations of the infraorbital branch of the trigeminal ganglia.
A deep-learning framework reveals whole-body perturbations at cell level - Nature
⭐Using this approach, we identified structural and molecular alterations in facial sensory nerves linked to reduced sensory responses. Similar molecular signatures were also found in trigeminal ganglia from obese humans, underscoring the potential translational relevance of these findings.
