Finally pushed out a 5.0.0 release of HTSJDK. Headlines: - CRAM 3.1 write support (finally!) - Much faster CRAM reading (46%) and writing (20-43%) - Much faster BAM reading (6-31%) and writing (51-58%)

I wonder how much of it is due to other local pressures. Eg Bedfordshire (Tempsford) is growing at 3x the national average already. This *badly* shows up in NHS amongst other things, plus the East of England is in a water debt as it's the driest bit of the country. (Out of drought as of today!)
