As another coder of 20+ years, letting a robot code your projects is a great way to not understand anything about your codebase in 6 months, locking you into paying the robot forever when you are inevitably crushed by technical debt

A reminder with #SteamNextFest starting: You SHOULD install the extensions that pop up the AI Disclosure in Steam and ignore any game with it.
Indie devs are in a tough spot: don't use AI, and watch everyone else ship games x5 faster than you or use it and be damned.
I don't think there are many coders left that are not using AI agents for coding right now, it's just that effective (been coding games for 28 years, professionally for 20)

So, hey, @spryfox.bsky.social's title, Spirit Crossing, sadly does in fact use GenAI.
Dev's have confirmed as much in their Discord.
There is a Claude file in the game files for the playtest that started a conversation about it, and sadly, that will be the end of it for me.
