Seriously. When I was in school, the VP of Marketing at a Big 5 pub taught us part of marketing frontlist is promo'ing related backlist.
Yeah, we're always chasing the big debut, the blockbuster, but backlist is your bread and butter, folks.
Proofreading update: 150/232. Over halfway through this first pass now! I'd love to finish the last 100 or so pages today, but the in-laws are coming over for dinner. FIL's birthday was last week, and I'm baking cake.
Morning writing session in the books! Added just a smidge over 5k words this morning, bringing the WIP to 37k.
Barreling toward the halfway point, and the MCs are busy finding clues and trying to piece things together.
