Are you an unexpected hero?
Prostate cancer is the leading cause of death among our men, & disparities are evident â black men are twice as likely to experience prostate cancer in their lifetime, often with poorer outcomes.Letâs fight this disease together by supporting our men to seek help early.

Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer in men. And there are far too many men being diagnosed late, when itâs harder to treat. It shouldnât be this way. Weâre not afraid of the challenge, and weâre facing up to it. But we canât take it on alone. If weâre going to campaign for an early detection programme, fund lifesaving research and put prostate cancer in its place, we need more of us to stand together. We need our friends, family and loved ones to join with us and say âenough is enoughâ. So that no man has to face prostate cancer alone. So that every man knows that when it comes to navigating this disease, all of us are right there with him. Thanks to your incredible support, weâve already come so far. Every pound youâve donated. Every petition youâve signed. Every mile youâve walked, cycled and swam to raise funds. Itâs driving us forward. Now weâre building on that momentum, to gather support on a scale weâve never seen before. And thatâs why Prostate Cancer UK have created a new TV advert â The Unexpected Hero â to motivate people all across the UK to join us, and stand together to take on this disease. ___ Our Website: http://prostatecanceruk.org/ Tweet us at: http://bit.ly/1PwJJwV Prostate Cancer UK Facebook: http://on.fb.me/1OynmYJ Our Email: [email protected]
