Prostate cancer is the leading cause of death among our men, & disparities are evident – black men are twice as likely to experience prostate cancer in their lifetime, often with poorer outcomes.Let’s fight this disease together by supporting our men to seek help early.
Nursing Live is 'the' nursing event of 2025. Join us at the NEC, Birmingham on 5-6 November for a rich programme of talks, CPD seminars, networking and pampering.
This month is the start of our vital NHS vaccination campaign, and I encourage everyone—especially our dedicated front-line NHS workers and social care staff—to get vaccinated. Your participation not only protects you but also reassures the public and boosts community confidence.

Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer in men. And there are far too many men being diagnosed late, when it’s harder to treat. It shouldn’t be this way. We’re not afraid of the challenge, and we’re facing up to it. But we can’t take it on alone. If we’re going to campaign for an early detection programme, fund lifesaving research and put prostate cancer in its place, we need more of us to stand together. We need our friends, family and loved ones to join with us and say ‘enough is enough’. So that no man has to face prostate cancer alone. So that every man knows that when it comes to navigating this disease, all of us are right there with him. Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve already come so far. Every pound you’ve donated. Every petition you’ve signed. Every mile you’ve walked, cycled and swam to raise funds. It’s driving us forward. Now we’re building on that momentum, to gather support on a scale we’ve never seen before. And that’s why Prostate Cancer UK have created a new TV advert – The Unexpected Hero – to motivate people all across the UK to join us, and stand together to take on this disease. ___ Our Website: http://prostatecanceruk.org/ Tweet us at: http://bit.ly/1PwJJwV Prostate Cancer UK Facebook: http://on.fb.me/1OynmYJ Our Email: [email protected]
