Yes! He's going to be a lot of fun, being the "straight man" for lack of a better word. Writing the Damsels is like putting reins on a train. The First Mate, Uno, and the Bo'sun, Cham, in particular, have as much subtlety as a brick to the face. 🤣 They haven't even got to the merman yet.

Got 1500 words in my Pirates WIP. It feels like it's going to be "serious face while clowns juggle in the background", at least for Tack. He's so ace, and his crew... Not. 😆 They call themselves "Damsels." All women Tack rescued from their shit husbands and became horny pirates.
