Seattle Times covered our big news from last week: more than 1,400 Seattle youth & their caregivers are getting free tickets to World Cup matches this summer. Grateful to our partners who made the largest local youth access effort of the 2026 tournament possible.

A great kick off to Bicycle Weekends this year!
Today the King County Transportation District board of supervisors passed a tax to fund necessary maintenance on roads in unincorporated areas, with a portion of the revenue going back to the cities to invest in our own transportation needs.
This is another big step forward towards my highest priority: rapidly expanding shelter & emergency housing. Thank you to @council.seattle.gov for moving so quickly to advance this legislation, and for their continued partnership moving this work forward.

After so many years of delays, deferrals, and broken promises, we can at last deliver the equitable transit access that Rainier Valley residents deserve. I hope other Sound Transit Board members will support our amendment tomorrow and move Graham Street forward at last.
