I mean shouldn't he and everyone involved be annoyed? JJM was so bad last year, that Carson freaking Wentz looked good by comparison. If you didn't bring Kyler in to be the starter, then why bother with him? If Kyler sucks, there's not a better option on the roster. Trade for Davis Mills

We start our rookie draft in a week from today. If you're interested, DM me. We use fairly standard PPR scoring, with the only real exception being kick returns scored the same as passing yardage (25 yards = 1pt)
If you just wanted him to win a competition, bring in Wentz and someone who is just passable. I don't think JJM would have beaten Wentz, but at least then we could all pretend it was a competition. I don't think Kyler is great, but there were no signs of potential last year with JJM.
I've got an opening in a single QB dynasty league (1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2WRT, 15 Bench, 5 IR, 5 Taxi). The team is definitely a contender with dues ($20) paid for the next two seasons (would need 2028 dues on join).
We just do venmo with a Google sheet that I keep updated with the balance. I'm not rich, but it's unlikely I'll need to run away with the league dues
