Emerson is a pretty privileged dude - not unaware of what's going on, but just not super directly impacted by it - so personally he hates that people have to trade in their dreams to go do some boring job. I write in the contemporary world but softened some of the specific economic struggles.
Boyfriend Material and its sequels had me laughing and changed what romance was in my mind… so much I wrote one. Just got Father Material in the mail and can’t wait to read on my vacation.
I had a dream it was my publication day and I had 8 reviews on goodreads and my grad school program had ordered 900 paperback copies of my book to be supportive lol
May the manifestation woo-woo bullshit come together to make at least the 8 goodreads reviews part come true
Just emailed my library asking if they would accept a donated copy of my book to put in circulation :) worst they can say is no
