It's sad but makes me angry too that people are taken in by Farage and Reform. Media gives them disproportionate amount of space and time.
I despatched a Reform rep from my doorstep, with loathing. Mistaken for one of them cos I'm in their demographic and totter. Cheek of the man! No reform councillor on Oxford City Council. Mostly Labour, several Greens and Lib Dems, all longstanding and hard working for their communities.

Not a good look. Our Lab and Green councillors go to community events and are happy to chat. Never a reform rep there.

Very pleased and proud of my ward. We've had the same Labour councillor for around 2 decades. He's fully involved with the local school and community centre, and is really helpful. Not sure if I got a Reform leaflet. We've had a Labour MP for even longer!
Isn't le Pen banned from the presidential election and Bardella is standing for RN?
I think she's banned till 2027, possibly till after the election. The French courts seem to be in no hurry to oblige her.
