New paper out! ✨
We built a humanized mouse model of JAK2-mutated MPN by embedding patient MSCs & progenitors in a gelatin scaffold to recreate bone marrow.
It preserves disease genetics and enables research on inflammation, immune control & new immunotherapies.

On May 19th, I’ll be in Stockholm, invited by the Karolinska Institute, to give a talk on the role of the immune system in bone marrow failure syndromes— and how recent findings are shaping the way we treat these conditions.
Join is if you’re in Stockholm.

I’m delighted to share our latest work on severe aplastic anaemia, published in Nature Communications. Using advanced single-cell approaches to dissect immune-mediated marrow failure before and after immunotherapy.
A great collaboration with NIH. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Had a great time speaking at SFH in Paris on targeting inflammation in MDS. Loved the discussion on patient stratification by mutations & immune subgroups.
Thanks to Lionel Adès for the kind invite — excited for more via the #i4MDS consortium!
Excellent discussions at the 4th annual i4MDS meeting in Milan — advancing immunobiology insights and moving closer to smarter stratification and better treatments for MDS.
