You can use overlay mode to highlight your art to show a light source. But you can also use it as a way to make your art pop as an effect with the air brush.

@zoelocke.bsky.social here was my lighting and shadow plan. It helps to map it out first ❤️ it doesn't have to be perfect nor do you have to follow it to a T. But putting it down helps you plan and map it out, and makes the rendering steps a lot easier.

@zoelocke.bsky.social Something that i've had to learn to be okay with. Is that It doesn't have to make sense as long as it looks pretty. And the more you do it and practice the easier it will get and easier to understand the concept.
