Yo tuve una vez un susto y tardé varios años en volver a perderle el miedo a nadar.
The People Who Grinned Themselves To Death was the first album I bought on vinyl.
@andrewhickey.500songs.com I think we discussed this when you did the bonus on Jethro Tull, but their press staff really don't have a clue how to handle Dee Palmer. In the obituary they posted to (at least) Facebook today they deadnamed her like no tomorrow.
They seem to follow the convention (at least Ian Anderson has explicitly said he does) that they only refer to her as Dee when discussing things that happened post transition, which I understand for most trans people is a big no.
A mi me parecen de mosquito.
No me extraña.
I prefer The People myself although I recognize the first one is probably the essence of the band.
Me toca las narices que en la nueva versión de Bluesky en los citados ya no se ve si las fotos tienen texto descriptivo.
I am of the firm opinion that the only thing that makes the 80s Tull albums sound "less Tull" is not the synths or the modern production - it's the lack of Palmer's orchestral arrangements.
"Puede ser", dice. "Discreto" = yo no se lo cuento a tu pareja y tú no se lo cuentas a la mía.
