It's a corrupt grift. All of it.

Clearly, there is no “peace deal.”
One side says “no money exchanged.” The other side says “$325 billion.”
This isn’t a negotiating gap; it’s a different universe.

Has the US ever lost a war as badly as Trump just lost his Iran war?
Vietnam cost far more American lives and took longer, so is still probably the worst.
Afghanistan is a contender too.
But the speed and total loss Trump managed in Iran is up there. www.thebulwark.com/p/trumps-ira...
It’s worth mentioning in every news story that this deal is substantially worse for the US, and far more lucrative for Iran, than the Obama nuclear deal Trump blew up almost a decade ago.
I’m not saying Trump is actually a Manchurian Candidate, but if our adversaries wanted to create one, they couldn’t have done better.
So Trump has spent tens of billions of taxpayer dollars, sent gas prices soaring, depleted the U.S. arsenal and further alienated our allies, all to get Iran to restore the status quo that existed before Trump started the war and that’s it?
Explain to me what I have wrong?
If there’s a more perfectly distilled depiction of the regime’s collapse than this, coming as it announces essentially a “deal” with Iran that makes clear Iran won a war Trump started, I haven’t seen it.
