Nice first visit to Lark Hill brewery tap earlier.
Really good spot in a courtyard area opposite Salford Uni based in repurposed old fire station buildings.

Day trip out to sunny Hebden Bridge and the ever brilliant Fox & Goose.

Second stop in Wigan. Appropriately enough it's Wigan Brewhouse.
Tried a few and the 6% WCIPA was (despite assuming it might be a bit mediocre) really very good indeed.
And it's set in a very lovely old building which always helps.
