A foggy start to the #CityNatureChallenge made birding difficult so I turned to the plants instead. 106 species seen for day one, with birds accounting for about 35%. Fun to see the 12 mile walk in a trail of pictures afterwards!

Had a nice encounter with a local Barn Owl this morning which I haven't seen for a few months. Also picked up Grey Partridge for my #patchbirding list this year and a Ruddy Shelduck two days prior which was a patch first!

I've been working on this linoprint for a month now and it's almost complete! It's of my local Minster which the Peregrines have chosen to occupy this year. I'm really excited to start making print editions of it soon!

Super happy that the ink wash works over the top! Now to purchase some paper that will hold both mediums well...
Here's the final linoprint of my local Minster and the Peregrine Falcons that are nesting there. Really pleased with how much the ink wash added to the piece!
