Our press is for-profit and its biggest players are (or soon will be) owned by Trump's allies.
We've always managed to stumble through despite the former, but it becomes impossible once you add the latter.
The dumbest thing about this is that teenagers are much better at identifying AI slop and propaganda than Boomer and Gen X users who continue to be brainwashed and radicalized at scale.
