French Rafale Shoots Unknown Drone Over Latvia A France Rafale of the NATO Baltic Air Policing mission shot down an unknown drone which entered Latvian airspace from Russia. Story: theaviationist.com/2026/06/08/f...

"Did you know that Alexander Graham Bell flew people with tetrahedral cellular kites?" sounds fake.

Aficionados of international maritime law should read the statement, an interesting choice of words. @EU_Commission and @kajakallas would be wise to expand on the phrase "freedom of navigation sanctions" as it might have rather large consequences.

HMS Prince of Wales about to depart from its maintenance stopover in Norway in yesterday's radar images. Less happy with the compositing on this one but will keep iterating. The Queen Elizabeth carriers really are excellent subjects for radar imaging with their large size and distinctive features.
