This is an important point & why Hungary’s democratic restoration *may* be easier than that of Poland. When institutions behave as they should, there is less of a need for complete overhaul — the problem is not structural. It’s early days though and clearly doesn’t apply to all institutions.

Latest Polish 🩘 (un)constitutional “court” - to this day, this fake body is yet to be suspended from the conference of european constitutional courts. This will be one of the networks whose failure to act I will address in my next blog post (if deemed worthy by @verfassungsblog.de)
