maybe it's cope but idk. dont get the vibe that anyone working on actually creating ffxiv is thrilled to use the slop machine considering the whole point is creating the fantasy world by hand. telling they can only get the marketing department to acquiesce at all.
im mad about what's happening to ffxiv as much as any other long time ffxiv player, but i can't read koji's absolute abomination of a storyboard for the primals concert as anything but malicious compliance with demands to use AI, and the pop art promos even smell of frustration at having to use it
I get the impression that some people aren't clear what this means. This is the UK state deciding to intervene directly in the healthcare of individual children, depriving them of medicine that their doctors have prescribed for their personal health & wellbeing, in defiance of global best practice.
