What people need to understand is that this is solely in response to an executive order. No law or regulation has changed. If Trump writes another executive order targeting adults tomorrow, trans people cannot trust that our state and local governments will fight for us when they won't for youth.
BREAKING MS NOW: ICE has detained over 500 babies and toddlers under Trump. On an average day, ICE has 25 children aged 3 or younger in custody, according to joint research by MS NOW and The Marshall Project.

Observers saw ICE agents detain a man attending a scheduled immigration court hearing in NYC yesterday, in defiance of a judge's court order blocking most arrests inside the city's three immigration courthouses. The man has since been released and is reunited with his family, observers said.
The judge's order forbids ICE from arresting immigrants inside courts at 26 Federal Plaza, 201 Varick Street and 290 Broadway unless there's a public safety or national security reason. But they're stalking the halls anyway and still making arrests.
